Gary DeWall took advantage of a late race caution to take the outlaw sprint feature win before a large crowd Sunday night at Huset's Speedway. Randy Nygaard, in his first night in an outlaw sprint at the track in several years, took command of the lead over the 21-car field at the start of the 25-lap event. With Don Droud and Terry McCarl close behind, the trio pulled away early in the event, and it was Nygaard looking strong as he worked his way through lapped traffic and maintained his advantage in spite of cautions on the ninth and sixteenth laps. McCarl finally slid under Droud on the second restart to take the runner-up spot, but couldn't gain much on Nygaard, who was already a straightaway ahead. The bad news for McCarl was that large puffs of smoke began coming from his engine, and with three laps to go he was black-flagged for excessive smoke, ending his quest for a third consecutive win. A caution with two laps to go bunched the field a final time and, with McCarl now in the infield, it appeared that Nygaard's most serious threat was gone. However, on the restart it was DeWall rocketing to the low groove in turn one as Nygaard stayed high and the second-generation driver from Jackson, Minn. shot past Nygaard to take the lead and eventually the win. Nygaard settled for second ahead of Jeff Mitrisin, fast-timer Chad Radel, Don Droud, Chad Meyer and Kenny Hansen.

The 360 sprint feature was an action-packed event that saw Chad Meyer score his second consecutive feature win. Micah Schliemann shot from his front row starting spot to take the early lead in the 18-lap event, and quickly built a sizable lead. But once Meyer and Butch Hanssen worked their way up to second and third from their sixth and tenth starting spots, respectively, they quickly closed in on Schliemann as he battled heavy lapped traffic. With five laps to go, it was Meyer taking the lead, then Schliemann fighting back as the pair battled side-by-side through the slower cars. The fifteenth circuit saw disaster strike for Schliemann as Joe Peterson hit the third turn wall, stopping directly in front of him. Schliemann, having nowhere to go, spun sideways into Peterson and then was hit hard by Dusty Wasmund. All three cars suffered heavy damage and Schliemann, who wasn't seriously hurt, was taken to the hospital for observation. On the restart it was Meyer maintaining his lead over Hanssen, eventually taking the checkered flag by a four car length advantage. Third went to Jeremy Kasten followed by Randy Droescher and Jsutin Henderson.

Rob Anderson outran the field to win the 18-lap late model stock car feature. Anderson led nearly the entire way to take the win ahead of Dale Furby, Doug Olivier, Ray Feltman and Gary Brown.
