122 cars jammed the infield for the 36th annual Cheaters Day races at the 5/8 mile Fred Buckmiller racetrack in Sioux Falls Saturday. The unseasonably warm afternoon saw all classes except the 410 sprints run qualifying races for the weekend’s big finale on Sunday.

In the 360 sprints, Chad Meyer continued his late season hot streak as he topped a 41 car field to win the A feature. Meyer took the lead from Micah Schliemann and went on to take the win by a comfortable margin over Schliemann. Third went to Jeremy Kasten followed by Butch Hanssen and Bob Zitterich.

Kelly Harmelink led all the way to take feature win in the late model stock cars. Terry Dieren came from the fourth row to take second ahead of David Kruger, Pat Connell and Curt Bauman.

Defending champion Ron Luitjens outran the field to capture the modified feature with Scott Knudson, Robert Schmitt, Kevin Pospisil and Marlin Kracht rounding out the top five.

J.J. Zebell ran away with the sportsmen feature while Jeff Jacobson topped the hobby stock main.
